St. Mark Parish is seeking volunteers (16+) to partner with Meadows Elementary, a Title 1 school in Plano, as mentors for the students.
Many students would benefit from consistent, caring adult relationships that provide encouragement and support beyond the classroom. Mentors will meet with a student one hour per week from August through May, offering time for reading, conversation, and simple activities.
Training will be provided through Kids Hope USA.
