St. Mark the Evangelist Catholic Church is seeking a joyful, faith-filled Catholic to join our team as a Part-Time Youth Ministry Coordinator. This position is focused primarily on relational ministry, building meaningful relationships with middle and high school youth, leading small groups, assisting with youth nights, retreats and conferences, supporting campus ministry at St. Mark Catholic School and helping create opportunities for young people to encounter Jesus Christ.
Beginning Sunday, August 9, the Brides Room/Choir Practice space will become a welcoming shared space designed to support families with young children during the 8:45am & 10:30am Masses. In keeping with the mission of the Catholic Church, this space will exist to foster reverence, hospitality, safety, and participation in the liturgy while helping children grow in faith and love for Jesus Christ. The parish will provide a clean space, with a child gate so the door may remain open during Mass, and a container with Catholic toys, book and puzzles for young children up to approx. 3 years old.

The current price for a niche is $5,000 but the price will be increasing to $6,000 on July 15. To purchase a Niche you must be an active St. Mark parishioner for at least six months.

We invite you to join us for a new 5 week study called Life Everlasting: Heaven, Hell, Death, and Judgment. In this study, Catholic scholars Dr. Edward Sri and Dr. Jeffrey Morrow will guide us through the Church’s teachings on the last things—not to fill us with fear, but to inspire us with hope. Together, we’ll discover how living each day in light of eternity gives meaning to our struggles, clarity to our choices, and strength for our journey of faith. Whether you’ve been studying the faith for years or are just beginning your journey, this study will help you grow closer to God and live with your eyes fixed on heaven. Classes will be held in McGivney Hall at 10:00am on Sundays starting June 28.
We are excited to share that St. Mark will be hosting a special relics visit on Monday, June 22, in the church after the 12:15pm Mass. This will be a beautiful opportunity for our parish community to come together in prayer and veneration.
