In the Catholic Church, Baptism is the beginning of a lifelong journey of faith and life with Christ. Through this sacrament, children are welcomed into God’s family and receive the grace of new life in Christ.
Parents and godparents make a commitment to help raise the child in the Catholic faith and support them as they grow in their relationship with God.
Parents and godparents are required to attend a Baptism Preparation Class before the celebration of the sacrament. This class is designed to help you better understand the meaning of Baptism, the promises being made, and the important role faith plays in your child’s life.McGivney Hall St. Mark Parish Center

If you are a parent, as a couple, you only pay $30.00 (not each). When signing up for the class, make sure you note both parent's information.
If you are a single godparent, you pay $20.00 and when signing up for the class, make sure to put n/a for the other godparent.
If you are a married couple, you only pay $30.00 (not each) and you would note both names and contact information when signing up for the class.
