Registration opens now - online registration available (see below)We are thrilled to announce that we have hired the new Director of Faith Formation and Youth Sacramental Preparation, following Peggy’s retirement in February 2026. Cathy will begin full-time at the end of May, and we will formally announce and welcome her the first week of June. Although she’s not officially working in the office yet, she is already hard at work on VBS, which take place July 13-17. Please read her invitation to assist with VBS this year!
Dear St. Mark Family,
Grace and Peace to you! Happy Easter! As our previous director began her well-deserved retirement, I am honored to step into the role and build upon the wonderful foundation Peggy created here at St. Mark the Evangelist Catholic Parish. Having spent over 20 years in early childhood education, over 10 years in Campus Ministry in a Catholic School and Kids Ministry work since 2005, I am honored to now serve the families of St. Mark Community.
As we prepare for a joyful summer, I am reaching out to invite you to share your heart and your witness with the children of our parish. Our VBS: Changemakers Lab is more than a week of fun—it is a mission to help our youngest disciples know Christ and make Him known.
To bring this vision to life for our many participants, we are seeking both Adult and Youth Volunteers to lead and assist in several exciting areas:- Bible Lab: Bringing the Word of God to life through storytelling.
- STEAM Station: Exploring faith through science, technology, and creativity.
- Outdoor Games: Building teamwork and joy through active play.
- Snack Team: Providing nourishment and fellowship for our participants.
- Security & Logistics: Ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all.
Whether you have a talent for teaching, a knack for science, or simply a heart for service, there is a place for you on this team. By joining us, you aren't just volunteering for an event; you are helping our youngest parishioners discover that even small acts of faith can change the world.
