Beginning Sunday, August 9, the Brides Room/Choir Practice space will become a welcoming shared space designed to support families with young children during the 8:45am & 10:30am Masses. In keeping with the mission of the Catholic Church, this space will exist to foster reverence, hospitality, safety, and participation in the liturgy while helping children grow in faith and love for Jesus Christ. The parish will provide a clean space, with a child gate so the door may remain open during Mass, and a container with Catholic toys, book and puzzles for young children up to approx. 3 years old. Families will be given a sheet with guidelines for using the space which include the following:
• Shared Space Courtesy • Reverence During Mass • Food and Drinks • Cleanliness and Sanitation • Safety Expectations • Respect for Parish Property • Technology and Media
The staff working at the Welcome Desk will be there to assist with any needs and to make sure the door is open and the space available to use for only those two masses at this time. Please let them know if you have any questions or concerns and they will bring it to the appropriate contact person.
